We plan and implement Continuing Education classes for for kin caregivers and Foster Parents. Examples of our workshops include Diversity Training, Water Safety, and Trauma Training. Please stay tuned to our website and emails for details on upcoming classes.
We teach Basic Life Skills and First Aid to potential kin caregivers and future foster parents. Classes are hosted in groups on a monthly basis and one-on-one sessions can be scheduled online.
Georgia Kinship Project operates a family resource closet and hosts outreach programs such as back to school drives and holiday assistance programs throughout the year. Please visit the Outreach tab to learn more about our resource closet and outreach projects.
Our SAFE-certified staff members receive referrals from the state of Georgia and write home studies for kin caregivers and potential foster parents.
