Educational Workshops

We plan and implement Continuing Education classes for for kin caregivers and Foster Parents. Examples of our workshops include Safe Sleep and Car Seat Safety Training. Our organization also offers monthly CPR training courses to any foster parent or relative caregiver. Please stay tuned to our website and emails for details on upcoming classes.

Outreach Programs and Services

Georgia Kinship Project operates a family resource closet and hosts annual outreach projects such as back to school drives and holiday assistance programs. Please visit the Outreach tab to learn more about our resource closet and outreach projects.

Caregiver Mental Health and Wellness

Georgia Kinship Project offers seminars/workshops and interactive programming to address the need of mental health and wellness programs. An example of our programs include a fitness training class offered at no cost to relative caregivers.

Foster Home Development Services

Our agency offers SAFE homes studies, IMPACT training, CPR as required components to become a relative partnership parent in the state of Georgia. Our services are not exclusively for relative caregivers as we support any individuals interested in providing a safe home while working towards achieving permanency.
